The new server is an Intel q9550 Quad with 4×2.83ghz processor with 8gb of RAM and a 1TB hard drive.

This is a beta test of the LiteSpeed web server for powerMonster and we’re truly excited to test it out.

We are looking for volunteers who wish to help us beta test the new server powered by LiteSpeed ahead of the official launch this Friday.

If you are interested, please submit a site-migration ticket and we will migrate your site(s) as soon as possible. We will be working the migration queue 9a-5p PT (GMT-8) daily until the official launch.

We hope that this move is the beginning of many more exciting things to come to powerMonster in the future!

We just wanted to let you know about some updates we’re working on at powerMonster!

You may have already noticed our website has gone through a medium-sized upgrade. What do you think? Tell us in the comments below. Be honest!!

We’ve also made a few minor changes to our Terms of Service and added a detailed Service Level Agreement. Check out the changes here.

Our client portal has moved to my.powermonster.net. Please update any bookmarks!

We’re working on a new and improved forum, so expect that to come online in the next few weeks.

We’ve also opened up a powerMonster twitter page! We have a great, but limited twitter special. Be the first to check it out!

We’re also looking at implementing LiteSpeed on our servers. It’s a drop-in replacement web server for Apache and is up-to-date, more secure, and runs at unbelievable speeds. Let us know in the comments below if that would be something you’re interested in.
