Back in the first part of June I set up an account with this company.
Signed up for 2 reasons. First reason is they have the awesome control panel called directadmin, which I like over cpanel. Second reason is I have been wondering about them for a while and finally got the opportunity to sign up.
I signed up with on of their great priced specials, if they did not have that special I probably would not have signed up.

Any way I currently have my blog on there which is http://bunnykinsblog.com but when I signed up I had a different site on there which is now gone called http://oc4themes.com.

One of the things I like about this host is the speed. OMG it is very fast, wordpress updates take such a very short time that if you blink you might miss it. That was way different then the 60 seconds or so I was getting with another host, so I am very happy about that.

The owner of this webhosting company is Scott and I must say even though it’s considered a small company, it’s a reliable one and the support offered is great, personal and upfront.

Scott also makes it a personal point to inform us of developments the company is headed to and also is enthusiastic about assisting customers with technical issues.

The server has also maintained a certain standard of uptime and I’m also very pleased with it’s speed.

My main website www.chio.asia is hosted on his directadmin server and I also have other websites on his cPanel server.

Currently I have other sites hosted somewhere else, but in the near future – I am looking at moving some of these sites over to his server as I personally am ingratiated to his support and level of service that I would like to use his services more.

I just started a month ago. I ran into few problems, minor ones so I got through to Support. Those problems got fixed under few mins either by Live chat or Email.
For a 1 month review:
- Excellent support
- So far very good speed. I tested and got maximum of around 400KB/s of download speed. Averaging 50-200KB/s.
- Great uptime. I’ll start with monitoring tools like Host-tracker
I will continue with my reviews after few months.

Just over a year ago i made a post here asking about what web designers do as far as hosting for clients go. powerMonster offered a partnership setup for me which we discussed and agreed on.

I currently have 3 websites of my own and several client websites setup on my own custom hosting plans provided by powerMonster. I have no complaints, uptime has been excellent, support is unheard of (often immediate) and they are always willing to offer advice, answer questions and work with me on any issues I have. Bandwidth is generous, i so far haven’t found any limitations to what i need as far as features go.

I’m just about to setup my first ecommerce project for a client using Magento, before i went ahead with this project i had several questions about security, bandwidth, ecommerce options etc. which Scott was happy to discuss with me.

I’d definitely recommend powermonster to anyone.

They were willing to work with me as I went through their terms of service and helped me to understand it and even more incredibly made changes to it related to my input or concerns!

I was looking for a low-cost host and started at a different one before this, I ended up asking too many questions for that host and they closed my account, not powerMonster. powerMonster consistently offers excellent customer service, always answering my questions more than adequatly fast, if that makes sense powerMonster truly does put customer service first and based on their dealings with me I wonder how they can make enough money based on the prices they charge, so that means this is a great price for the product and personal customer service.

powerMonster is always willing to help me understand various situations and has never declined to answer telling me to just “google” it. Not sure what else to say, but wish I could write a better testimonial!

I was with another hosting company for about 7 years. It was a small, family owned company and things were great. Then the server company sold out to a bigger corporation and things started going downhill.

The owner of the hosting company asked the customers to bear with them as things would improve.

Well, they didn’t. As a matter of fact they got worse. After about 10 months of less than satisfactory service I guess the hosting company owner decided to get out of the business and sold out to Jumpline. That’s when the situation took a turn for even worse service.

I decided it was time to find a new hosting company but in all my looking around I realized this was not going to be an easy leap. One of my web site (I have 3) was a bandwidth monster, generally running at about 260 GB a month. I also do some web design and I was hosting 4 other sites as parked domains, so I needed a place for the ‘Monster’ as well as the other 6 sites. Needless to say, all the hosting company’s I talked to had a problem with the ‘Monster’ so my search continued.

Then I stumbled upon powerMonster at the Web Hosting Talk forums. I gave them a call and after about an hour of me burning their ears, they came up with a special plan that left my heart soaring like a hawk.

We set up a reseller plan that gave me everything I needed, for the most part, and I was back in business.

There was a few glitches in the beginning, but I must say, with them working with me, most everything got straightened out.

I didn’t have this kind of support with the other company. Working with them has definitely been a pleasure, even though I’ve probably bugged him more than most folks. I’m also very happy with the price, considering my ’special needs’.

If I have it my way I plan to beat the 7 year record from the old company by a long shot.

They had a great plan to fit my needs and they were willing to answer any question before I joined them. Since this was first time using a host, I greatly appreciated the helpful instructions to get started. Plus, powerMonster.net has given me great service including the owner upgrading my WordPress installation himself.

I switched to powerMonster several months ago when my “big name” host became too cumbersome to work with. They served up my Blog pages to slowly and their customer service was non-existent.

powerMonster, is the opposite. Their customer support is excellent—email questions are answered quickly and their support is friendly. pM also serves up my web pages quickly—about as fast as a dedicated server. I have already gotten some of my web clients to switch to pM and they are also satisfied.
